This comes from a place of love, seriously. Living in rural Oregon, I’ve come to realize just how big the divide between the I-5 and the rest of Oregon can be. People out here aren’t necessarily big fans of Kate Brown. More to the point, they feel like their money and state policies are being used to prop up the larger cities on the I-5. The governor of Oregon will always have a lot on their plate due to the varied issues they’ll face, but this is one I don’t feel has been addressed in the last few years. And though I wish she could make it to all the rural communities, I also wish the voters out there would be willing to hear her out and engage in meaningful discussion.

Prost.
